Vintage PCs Two Chinatown New York City
The b/w post card on the left just says 'Chinatown, New York'. The awning in the lower right says 'Lin Joe'. It was published by I. Stern, Brooklyn, N.Y. It is undivided and was never mailed. On the front is the hand written date'6/5/1910. The PC on the right says Mulberry St., New York. It is hand colored. It is postmarked Mar 5, 1907. It was published by the Souvenir Post Card Co., New York & Berlin. The hand written date on the front is 3/4 1907.
This is one of a group of postcards found in an album. Almost all used cards are dated somewhere between 1904 and 1907. Most were sent to a young woman in Brooklyn, New York, by her male admirers. She ended up marrying another man, the father-in-law of the owner of this album. It was found in storage and probably hasn't been looked at for many years.
