Just look at this Vintage Rooster and Roses Salt Box in the Early Provincial pattern. The Salt Box has a hinged wooden lid and is about 4 3/4 inches tall, by about 4 3/4 inches across, by 3 1/2 inches deep. 

BEAUTIFUL!

 In keeping with the traditional Rooster & Roses pattern, one lovely, bold rooster adorns the front of this piece. He has a golden breast and vivid red wattle, comb, and wing. His tail is a luxurious Grey-Black. The Rooster is flanked on the sides by stylized Roses in shades of Pink and Burgundy, Forest Green foliage and scrolling stylized Rose Vines. The rims are golden with tawny cross-hatching, again, typical for the Early Provincial pattern. Some rubs along edges. Out of sight when displayed. No Cracks, crazing or repairs.
