Charming, cool and just plain fun. One of a kind. Large, heavy, hand carved wooden nutcracker in the form of a Pharaoh on his stacked/step pyramid base. Hand painted, his headdress being in glitter his loincloth and base being in stucco. Fully polychromed. The back of his headdress operates his mouth. His staff and standard are removable from his hands. Standard Pharaonic processional pose, very authoritative and regal. Definitely an attention getter and conversation piece. Three applied cartouches (one is for King Tut, don’t know the others) across the base and one on his staff/standard. The base is heavy pine and particleboard. A real collector’s piece.
