Up for auction is this original serial number I.D tag from a 1972 Polaris Charger SS snowmobile. The serial number reads: 0501676 The model number reads: 0733500 Those numbers indicate this was from a 1972 Charger SS with a 335 free air engine and slide rail suspension with cleated track. Tag is in good condition but is scuffed slightly around the mounting holes. I have not tried to clean it. If your vintage Polaris is missing its serial number tag, or its damaged beyond hope, here is the answer. Please e-mail with any questions and watch my other auctions for more vintage sled stuff.
