Vintage Quon Quon Japan Humpty Dumpty Fairy Tale Mug

This vintage ceramic mug was made in Japan by Quon Quon. It was made in 1983 and is clearly marked on the bottom.  It is a small child's Nursery Rhyme mug or cup, 3 1/4" tall and 3" across the rim.   Humpty Dumpty is on the front, caught in mid-air.  A small toy soldier looks on.  The raised or embossed design has been hand painted  and the cup is in like new condition. 

Quon Quon importers supplied merchandise to upscale department and specialty stores in through the 1980's.  The mug is good quality, similar to Otagiri or Fitz & Floyd imported pieces from the same period.
