Vintage ROAD TO OZ Book Baum Rare ROYCRAFT Jacket VG+

Here is a very good copy of The Road to Oz with the hard-to-find Roycraft dust jacket. In about 1959, just eleven of the Oz books were issued in special dust jackets designed by a company called Roycraft. These were only in production for a few years before being replaced by the "white cover" editions without dust jackets, which are much more common. The cloth cover is blank. The Road to Oz was written by L. Frank Baum and published by Reilly & Lee, copyright 1909. Jacket lists to Hidden Valley of Oz. Illustrated endpapers.

Book is in excellent condition. The exterior is extremely clean--looks brand new. Photo tells it all. Interior is also near perfect--tight binding, no marks, not even a prior owner's name! There is a tiny, tiny (1/8") tear at the top of one of the rear pages where the pages stuck together a little. Jacket is very good plus, just a green pen mark at the top near the title and a little shelf rubbing. Flaps are price-clipped, but very clean. Very little edge wear. A highly collectible copy!

  Shipping:

Books are shipped by Media Mail, which is the cheapest and still quite reliable. Media Mail does take one or two weeks for delivery, depending on where you live. $4.95 for most items by Media Mail; $1.50 for each additional item.

We can ship Priority Mail if you prefer,although it is usually expensive--email your zip code for a quote.

We wrap securely, putting vintage books in boxes rather than padded envelopes, and use cardboard backing with magazines. Insurance is recommended for expensive items, as I can't be responsible (in the rare event) an item is lost or damaged in the mail. I will ship internationally to many countries, but contact me BEFORE purchasing for the cost--it can be substantial. You may also be responsible for customs' duties in your country, and please don't ask me to falsify customs forms!

I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. I try to list all flaws of note when describing an item, but perhaps something slips my eye, or is otherwise not up to snuff. You can return the item for a full refund of your purchase price.

You must contact me for a refund within 3 days of receipt, and I must receive it back it within 14 days. (Shipping costs not refunded, since these are a direct out-of-pocket expense).
