Reminiscent of days gone by, this rag rug is handmade and is a one of a kind original piece created by an artist in Virginia. She has been making these rugs for 50+ years and has decided to now let some of them go to the general public.
Made of washable soft materials, this rug is in new condition - has been stored in a lined cedar chest for decades. The main colors are red and pink. The rug is an oval, measuring 37" by 26". It is hand made from knitted fabrics.
I will be listing a second one as well in a seperate auction. These rugs are fabulous and will last forever if you care for them properly. Growing up, we had them in our bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen.
