You are bidding on a Reynolds Onyx Cornet model CR-20 with case, keys, mouthpieces, and included papers. Had this a while and it's in excellent condition. From what I've been told they used this kind of trumpet in the early days of T.V. because it didn't caste such a sharp glare for the camera. I found the following description on the Internet:
"Produced at the Olds plant in the mid-1970s, the Onyx model cornet featured an ebony lacquer [aka "black nickel"] finish option over the brass areas of the horn. The ebony contrasted with the nickel silver valve tuning slides and crooks, and valve tops/caps."
