Vintage Rogers Blackjack Beater for Swiv-o-matic Pedals

This is a genuine vintage Rogers “Blackjack” beater for the Swiv-o-matic bass pedal.  This is a nice example in good condition (use the Supersize feature to enlarge photos for a closeup look).  The felt looks good and has plenty of life left.  The shaft is clean and rust free.  It does show signs of being attached to a pedal, of course.

Many people think the Blackjack beater was only for the Supreme pedal.  They also made one to fit the Swiv-o-matic pedal (see catalog photo).  The difference being the Swiv-o-matic Blackjack has a ¼” diameter shaft compared to the Supreme’s 5/16” shaft. This beater will also work in a Supreme pedal or any brand pedal that accepts a 1/4" round shaft.
