Vintage Round Silverplate Reticulated Edge Serving Dish

Listed here is a serving dish base or stand with a reticulated edge between two silver bands at the bottom and top of the stand.  It needs a glass pyrex style bowl that measures 8".  It measures 3 1/2" tall and is footed.  We could not find a mark for the maker.

We have seen these at the holidays with beautiful cranberry or cobalt blue glass bowls.  It makes a striking presentation.  For the rest of the year, a clear glass bowl also makes a nice appearance.
