This is a wonderful vintage Seth Thomas, German made, westminster chime (quarter hour) bracket, shelf, mantle clock. It has an 8 day movement and runs and chimes great. Keeps good time. The clock chimes on the quarter hours and also chimes the number of hours on the hour.
It measures 14" tall, 10 7/8" wide, and 7 1/2" from front to back.
This clock was presented to an empolyee for 41 years service in 1976, as per the brass tag on the base of the front.
The only two flaws I can find is a rub of the wood on the left front corner behind the wood framed glass door. The other flaw is one of the bolts which holds the handle to the top of the case is off and the handle has been turned and scratched the top a little. The bolt is still here and I'll include it along with the clock, so the buyer can replace it if they like. Please view the two next to last pictures.
