Vintage SERVING Tray STRAW Raffia LUCITE Acrylic GARDEN

We have here another wonderful find in this very Charming Vintage Serving Tray.

It measures about 17 1/2 inches by about 13 inches and weighs approximately 3 1/4 pounds.

The center of interest here is a charmingly painted old fashioned country garden scene. We see a beautifully attired Maiden admiring her delightful flower garden. Her flowing red hoop skirt and matching red bonnet are also adorned with many little yellow and white flowers. Two little sparrows are gracefully perched upon the stone wall admiring the garden with her as well. This beautiful picture is under some sort of nice quality Lucite protective surface. All perimeter edges are tastefully wrapped with good quality light brown raffia alternating with a tan harder surface wrap.

With the exception of some slight unraveling of the overcast straw edge in lower left corner as well as some surface wear, particularly along edges on its back board, it is in really lovely vintage condition. It should not be any problem for the new owner to secure these few loose strands in the corner area if he or she should so desire. Of course we expect these always anticipated few minor areas of surface wear and age-related patina to be found in pre-owned items from another time.

Just give it a gentle cleaning and it will soon be ready to be a lovely addition to your Vintage-Inspired Home for that of the collector in your life.
