Condition:  Good.

This was my dad's, and he was a lifelong Ham Radio guy.  His handle was WA9IXS and his name was Jim Allen.  He lived in Urbana, Illinois.  I wouldn't be surprised if some of you knew him.  He was quite a neat guy.  

Anyway, this is a Shure Brother's Inc. Controlled Magnetic Microphone, model # 450, Made in Evanston, IL.  It is adjustable for height, and goes from approximately 10 1/2" - 13" tall.  It has an impedance switch on the back that goes from low to high.  I do not know if it works, as we don't have any radios left to test it with.  However, this was the last one he was using, so I assume that it works.  It comes with the 3-wire connector, and maybe the shield (?) as shown in the pictures.       

Please examine the pictures, as they speak to the quality and condition of this item.   Please note that the cord looks like it might have some damage.  The case is dirty, but that is just cosmetic.  He was still using it when he passed, so I believe it is in usuable condition, but I can't be sure.

Shipping:   $11.00 to anywhere in the continental United States.  Shipping will be calculated separately for those outside the continental United States.  A combined shipping discount will be available to anyone who purchases multiple items, and pays using a money order or cashier's check.  Combined shipping discounts are not offered for those who purchase multiple items and pay using PayPal.  Combined shipping discounts do not automatically include shipping insurance.  Shipping insurance is never provided by us, for free, to the buyer.  Purchasing shipping insurance is strongly encouraged, and it is absolutely the responsibility of the buyer.  We are not responsible for shipments that become lost or damaged in transit, for which insurance was not purchased.  Shipments are usually mailed within 7 to 10 days after close of the auction.  We must wait for clearance of payments through our bank, even for PayPal transactions.  We pack items over the weekend after payment has cleared our bank.  Mailings are done the following Monday or Tuesday.  You will receive an acknowledgement on the day that your item is mailed, which will include an estimated time of arrival.
