Vintage Sampler, Linen Cross-stitch- This a vintage sampler, dated 1958.it is a birth announcement . The wording reads” John Robert colnell son Howard Otis Colnell and Barbara Hrosenchik Born on February 21st  in the year of our Lord 1958”.It is edged with figures of English or toy soldiers. It measures approx. 13 inches by 13 inches. It appears to be in the original frame, black painted wood with glass front. Linen has a yellow aged tone, condition of sampler very good, frame has some chips to the paint.
