Up for bid is an antique needlepoint sampler....the background is a deep warm rose  with a floral center of brighter rose, white, gold, yellow, greys, glack greens and brown plus a bird perched on a branch......wonderful worked colors of yesteryear.....would look great as a chair seat or framed......the worked area measures 15 1/2 X 13 1/4 with an additional edge of unworked area measuring 1" on the sides and 2 inches on ends.  This needlepoint would have to be blocked.
