I purchased this at an auction that sold dolls from one private collection and most of the dolls I purchased were old composition dolls, which happens to be my favorite type. But I am certainly not a collector and don't know a lot about dolls, and most of the dolls sold at this auction had bonnets, and layers of clothes on so it was hard to get a peak of the damage under those clothes, so most of the dolls I purchased do have some kind of damage, but they are old, and you should not expect them to be perfect. I took lots of pictures and I will try to call any damage, so please ask any questions before bidding and I am not accepting returns on these dolls, they are sold "as is". This is an adorable baby doll and her tag at the auction read Baby Chubby from 1940 and it is signed Horsman Doll. She is 17" and has a beautiful face and brown sleep eyes which you do not find very often, most of the dolls eyes are blue.. She is a mama doll and will make a sound sometimes. Her head, arms and legs are really in pretty good condition, but her body has staining on the front and on the back. She is dressed in an old dress and bonnet with an underslip.
