What A Find! I found a complete Vintage stereo system All of it will be on ebay today! Vintage Pioneer Tube Tuner/Amplifier, Turntable and more! Check my other auctions to see all the cool old vintage equipment

This auction is for a Cool old pair of Silvertone Speakers! These are model # 7428. The Speakers look great. The outer wood cabinets have a few small dings here and there but nothing serious at all. The grills looks great with no flaws in the original grill cloths.

 

On the backs of the speaker cabinets the original label is missing on one and on the back of the other the label is partially missing. From what is left of the label you can read that these are Silvertone speakers model # 7428. The boxes contain, according to the label A 4" speaker at 8 ohms and an 8 inch speaker @ 8 ohms.

The cabinets measure 21" high x 14: wide x 5.5" deep

 

I hooked these speakers up and they sound really good. They look really good and I almost want to keep them.

Just for the heck of it I took one of the backs off to reveal The two speakers inside.. The cabinets contain two speakers both have stickers on them that say

" Jensen Loudspeaker"

"Special Design"

" Jensen Mfg Co "

" Chicago Made in USA"

On the 8 inch woofer there are also some #'s

$40  shipping on this item to Lower 48 U.S. addresses only.   Local pick up is welcome. I will box the speakers really well Using pleanty of bubble wrap and lots of packing. If it turns out there is a huge overage in the shipping price I will be glad to refund the difference
