Up for bids is this vintage Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine and original case.
This is a working Singer sewing machine - it is in excellent condition ---there is no rust whatsoever. It was stored in the original case over the years. The case is not in the best of shape but the machine works just fine. The case is worn on the corners and has some paint spots on top of the case.
This sewing machine has been passed down through the family. In checking the serial number and date, it appears it is a 1956. On the motor it reads:
Swinger
Sewing Motor
Cat 3-120
110-120 volts
0.4 Amp
25-75 Cyc & D.C.
55 AU 61-18-1
The Singer Mfg. Co.
ElizabethPort, NJ
Made in USA
On the bottom of the machine it reads: AM37439
Hoping this sewing machine can find a new home where it will be appreciated and used!
Thanks for looking & happy bidding!

Please read through the item description carefully for details about the item with regards to its age, origin, condition, etc. Should you have any questions about the item, please contact me first before placing a bid or making an offer. All questions are welcome!
Note: serious bidders only! If you don't intend to pay, DO NOT BID! It is not fair to those buyers in the ebay community who are serious about wanting to purchase/bid on an item.

I'm a fast shipper! I ship 6 days a week and the item will leave my home either the same day of payment clearing (depending on time of day), or the very next business day of payment clearing!

I'm proud of my feedback score and take pride in all the items I sell on ebay. I try to the best of my ability to describe the item as accurately as possible with regards to its age, origin and condition. If however, for whatever reason, you are not completely satisfied with the item after receiving it, please email me immediately as I would very much appreciate the opportunity to rectify any concerns opposed to receiving complaints via the feedback process because bottom line YOU are the customer and customer satisfaction is my ultimate goal!
Please note I will leave you feedback only after I've received feeback from you. This helps me know the transaction is complete, i.e., the package arrived "safe and sound" and that you are happy with the purchase!
