DESCRIPTION: Here is a fun and whimsical decanter in the shape of a sleeping Mexican campesino, taking a siesta under his tall sombrero. Done in redware ceramic with a brown glaze background and cold painted with vibrant yellow, red, green and white. The top of his sombrero hat comes off - there should be a cork attached to the inside of the hat top but it is missing ( an easy to replace fix). He measures 7 1/2" high. The only mark is a faint number looks like 54/48, but probably made in japan. This cute piece is in very good condition with very very little wear to the paint. No chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. A cute and hard to find addition to your Southwestern table decor & perfect for storing your tequila.
