This beautiful 1920s (apx.) Slingerland Snare Drum is brass, beautiful and should belong to you!
This rare 6 1/2" by 14" snare drum one of the most beautiful of my collection, and it's ready for a new home!
Here are some of the features of this very old, rare, eight lug brass snare drum:
Note: The strainer appears to be original, but has lost its knurled nut and knob, which have been replaced, and the internal tone control is also missing.
Eight tube lugs - all hardware is in good, working condition
14" rims are straight and round
Adjustable strainer works well - but has replacement parts
This gorgeous snare has great tone and a bright, high sound when tuned tight...this is a very rare piece indeed!
