Please look all the way to the bottom to see ALL the photos I have included. The measurements of the large horseshoe bar are 84" wide, only 34" deep from the back of the soda fountain to the front of the counter, and 40" tall. The bottom step where you would rest your feet is 10" tall and 8" deep. This very complete setup was carefully disassembled and removed from a Walgreen's Drug Store on the Western Slope of Colorado several years ago, then set in the garage for these photographs, and then put into storage. It is all in exactly the same condition you see here, in very good used condition, the formica top is still in excellent condition, as is the beautiful green outside metal front of the bar which is like new! The green booth cushions are still in good shape, and the yellow vinyl cushions and chrome stools are still in good shape too! But I need to point out that there is no actual back to the horseshoe bar, as that was attached to the wall, and so you would need to consider that upon installing this. And of course you would need to connect plumbing and so forth to operate the actual metal soda fountain if you wished to make that functional again. (I have included several photos of the rear of the soda fountain and the bar itself, to give you an idea.) It could use a good cleaning after all these years in storage, and you might want to repaint the wood, repolish the chrome, etc. The outside of the bar is, again, in beautiful shape, but the area where the customers rested their feet on the bottom is worn through in a few spots, although that's simply cheap black linoleum, a simple repair. But this is an incredible collection of vintage Americana, truly a fabulous one-of-a-kind treasure. Please see the close-up photo of the Carpenter's Union label that was still under the formica countertop, from Chicago, 1941. I would assume the buyer would want local pickup, but as this is being stored at a friend's woodworking shop, we could arrange for all of this to be carefully crated if need be, for a reasonable charge for his time to carefully crate it all up. Of course I have no idea what kind of cost the freight cost would be, we'd have to check that out, if you chose that option. We can even chat by phone if you wish, just email your number and I can give you a call. The location of the shop is extremely central and easy to reach here in Denver, of course if you wish to visit in person (I would encourage you too!) I would be more than happy to meet you in person and drive you to the shop myself to have a look. Look forward to inquiries, but please don't wait til the last minute! Remember this 10-day auction will end at 7 Pacific time on Wednesday November the 11th so watch the clock and be careful you don't get "sniped" at the last minute and lose it by a few dollars! Thanks for looking! Note: If you look up my revisions, those were for the photos I was adding to this listing.
