This is a rare original vintage solid brass Elkhart Brass fire extinguisher. Built entirely of brass, it has been lovingly restored and polished to a high luster and clear coated. It holds 2.5 gallons of water. Extreme care has been taken during the polishing and refinishing to insure that some of the markings have been left to preserve its character. It makes a wonderful conversation piece and will look beautiful in the flickering firelight when placed near the fireplace in your living room. This is a working fire extinguisher and needs only a lid gasket to be fully functional.
