Striking Art Deco Style Stangl Terra Rose figural leaf vase #3441 with rich green glaze, the number indicating 1940s to 1950s timeline. Height at front is 10 3/4." Impressed "STANGL U.S.A. 3441" signed with initials CM. This is an absolutely beautiful art pottery piece with one flaw clearly shown in 2 photographs, which is a glaze chip on the underside of one the side leaf points. Also in the photographs, one can see that this chip is not visible from 3 sides due to favorable under edge position. A lovely rendition of a rose leaf in the inimitable style of Stangl!

A: I would say that it was more green than blue...I have seen the blue glaze...this reminds me a bit of the color that copper turns when it tarnishes...more
