A vintage Stanley Bedrock #603 plane with the flat side rails and corrugated bottom. Starting at the toe, it is marked #603, has the high rosewood knob, raised ring for the knob, Bedrock mark directly behind the knob, Bedrock logo on the cap iron, mark on the iron, Stanley only on the lateral adjust, the two pins for holding the frog down, two patent marks behind the frog...PAT'D APR.2-95 & APR.19.10 Small oxidation and staining, and very small nicks.
Throughout in very good condition. The knob and tote have no breaks, chips, cracks or repairs. There is a GH stamped on the left side of the plane down near the bottom. Overall there are no repairs, or cracks and all parts are off for you to see and Recognized every part in the photos.all the parts has been clean and oiled so they can be moister free and assemble by you upon delivery.
Stanley Bed Rock 603, Type 5 (1911) with a later Type 11 (1942) cutting iron.excellent rosewood knob and tote. The plane sides have GH stamped by an owner on one side. A great workshop plane.
