Note on color:
When an item is described as gold or silver, it refers to color and not necessarily to type of metal unless specifically noted. We do not test for and cannot be sure of gold content unless marked on the eyeglasses themselves. However, a great percentage of the eyeglasses we sell will have gold in them as many antique frames were made of solid gold, gold filled, gold plated etc.
About Us
Vintage and antique eyeglasses are much more than just a business to us. To us they are not only an essential tool for better sight but also a window into history. Each pair has a hidden story behind it and like all lovers of history we find that irresistible. All of our eyeglasses go through a thorough inspection and restoration process to ensure the best possible quality. We spend hours cleaning, polishing, testing and otherwise tuning up each pair of eyeglasses we sell. Of all the eyeglasses we process, only about 40% pass inspection and make it to auction. |
