Description: Beautiful card case with what I believe is an
old French scene with a couple standing in front of a waterfall kissing. Two
angels are holding a tablet that reads "SERMENT" with other
lettering below it. The rest of the case is gold tone with the base and inside
of the case having a small weaved look with stars (see photos). There is a
cigarette case and lighter listed on Ebay with this same scene by another
seller.
Age: Vintage. Estimate 1950's-70's.
Condition: Pre-owned. Light scratches on top. Base has
wear esp. on side edges. Area approx. 1/4" on back below hinge that has
worn through gold tone.
Measurements: Approximately 4 1'4" x 2".
