~*~This buy it now is for this beatufiul, 100% hand-woven roll of antique/vintage European hemp/linen  roll  measuring ~*~( 14.3 yards) 42.9feet long by 22.44 inches wide (13.1 meters by 56cm) ~*~*

If you are looking to create a wonderful Gustavian pale look to your interiour, this textile is just perfect! This roll of hand woven, Vintage European hemp and linen mix roll is just wonderful.  The weave of this textile is a stunning twill weave, with a wonderful pale cream tone!! It is so beautiful. This textile is thick, durable and would be just perfect for upholtery, bedding, curtains, clothing and many other wonderful projects. This roll is woven using a natural cotton warp and a natural linen weft and the texture is divine! ~*~ Such a beatiful and rare textile. ~*~* I am able to match longer yardage pieces of this textile should one require more yards for a large project as my backstock is vast, please email me with any questions~*~ ( I have attached some photographs of some upholstery projects that have been created by my designers using my linen~*~ ( furniture not included in this buy it now)

This roll is in wonderful condition~ the side with the lovely deep twill weave is very clean, light dirt will wash, no problem. The back side of this roll however has some dirt marks that may not wash fully. Therefore this roll should only be purchased for projects that will have only one side of the textile showing! ( eg upholtery, pillows, bedding etc! ~*~) ~

 ~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen

 ~*~ These rolls are 100%  machine washable, warm if there is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! I like to add Snuggle or similar fabric softener to the final rinse for added softness~ though not necessary. They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and there is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect).  Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage. These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! ~ The average age of these rolls is about 100 years old, they are wonderful textile treasures~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~

 All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are inherent ...adding to their rustic charm~*~
