Vintage 1930s 10" Unmarked Painted Eye Compo Doll

Here is an adorable little unmarked composition girl from the 1930s. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips and is securely strung. The doll has nicely painted facial features, including blushed cheeks and a closed rosebud mouth (the eyes may have been retouched). She has molded, painted hair; the paint is light, especially on the sides and back. Her composition is very good, with minimal crazing, a few small cracks, the expected joint wear, and a bit of missing paint. You can see her seam molds, but they are not separating. There are no deep cracks and no missing chunks of compo. The opening in her torso for her left leg is a little larger than the right, but it looks like she came this way.

She wears a untagged pale peach cotton dress with a dotted design plus a pretty white collar. It closes in back with two white snaps. She also wears vintage pale pink oilcloth shoes / pumps with cardboard bottoms. The clothes are in good vintage played-with condition.

Because I am not the original owner, I cannot guarantee that this doll has never smoked, owned a pet or eaten peanut butter, but my nose is pretty good and I don't detect any bad smells.
