This curly-haired little dancer has a certain resemblance to Shirley Temple, very popular at the time. The maker most certainly intended to evoke Ms. Temple, to take advantage of her popularity. It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with light to moderate wear and soiling; a little creasing near moving parts; written in pencil on the back (could be erased if desired):
