Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Laboratory 1963 Engineering

I recently came across some neat old items related to Westinghouse and its subsidiaries in the Pittsburgh area. Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory (BAPL)is operated for the Department of Energy by Bechtel Bettis, Inc., and was formerly operated by Westinghouse Electric Corporation. It played a major role in designing reactor plants for the first nuclear-powered submarine (USS Nautilus), the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier (USS Enterprise), all of the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, and the USS Seawolf. This glass tray reads "BETTIS ATOMIC POWER LABORATORY CORE MATERIALS INTEGRITY PLUS 1963" and has a blue WESTINGHOUSE emblem at the top. It measures approximately 6 3/4" x 5 7/8" and has no cracks or chips. The decal and lettering are in excellent condition.
