Description

Vintage  Christening Baptism Cap & Dress which is 29" long. Looks like it was hand made by a family Member.. No labels.

This may have been used by 6 Babies for their baptism..There is one name embroidered onto the slip and the names of 5 others have been lightly written in.....

The material is a soft cotton  open eyelet  very good quality ..Top collar eyelet has yellow ribbon design and 3 small pearl like buttons..Hook and eye closure in back..

Dress is fully lined...No rips or tears but some slight darkening to material on the top and sides.  Sure it could be removed with washing..

Bonnet/Cap is lined and trimmed in applique material,yellow ribbon tie with 2 tiny pearl like buttons....THE PHOTOS SHOW THE DRESS AS A DARK CREAM YELLOW....IT IS A WHITE OUTFIT........
