Vintage Whiting & Davis Alumi-Mesh Ladies’ Purse with Bakelite Handle.  This purse is in exceptionally good condition with all mesh intact, and the metal top, clasp, handle and lining are also in nearly perfect condition.  It is beige mesh with a gold metal top and clasp and a clear amber bakelite curved handle.  It measures 8” by 5”.  The interior is navy blue satin with two pockets.  It is marked “Whiting & Davis Co.” and “Made in USA.”
