Up for auction is a vintage wicker fishing creel with a fish head closure.

The leather strap that connects the closure is missing, as shown.  The end of the belt was brittle and broke off.  It is still usable! 

The leather belt measures 46" long.  The basket is 15" wide x 8 1/2" tall x about 9" deep.
