This is Woman's Day pattern #5078, The New Basic - Straight from Paris. Size 14, measurements are B32, Waist 26.5, Hip 35. Finished back length from neck to lower edge is 46". Stunning dress, incredibly elegant!
I have no date for this. Based on the silhouette and pictured accessories, I'd guess late 50s or early 60s/
from the deltor: Designed by Jeanne Lafaurie, this long-torso dress with asymmetric seam and dart treatment is flattering and slenderizing for any well-proportioned figure. It zips down the back; tiny buttons close the back of the convertible collar. Pattern for a belt is included, which can be added to change the appearance of the dress.
This unprinted pattern is in very good condition. All pieces are present and it appears unused.
Don't be afraid of unprinted patterns if you've never used them before! The actually have perforations making it easier to transfer markings, and the pieces are already cut out. Some great tips can be found here: Take it slow the first time, and you'll soon become an expert!
