Vintage Double Nine Dominoes

This auction is for a set of Double Nine Dominoes by Halsam. I do not have a specific age, but they are quite old judging from the box and the image embossed on them. It is The Empire State Building, and you will note it does not have any antennaes or equipment now needed to signal airplanes.

The dominoes are black painted wood with white dots and the image embossed on one side. There are 56. They come in their original box, which interestingly has a small ad on the front to buy US Savings Bonds.

Condition: The dominoes are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The box is quite worn and taped, as you can see in the photo. The set is from a smoke-free home.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE: I usually pack auctions on Wednesday for items that have been paid for by 5:00 pm Tuesday each week. Shipments go out Thursday morning. All shipping is via the method stated in the listing ONLY. Shipping to the U.S. ONLY unless stated otherwise in the auction.

RETURN POLICY
I take great care in packaging and encourage buyers to purchase optional insurance. If you choose not to buy insurance and your item is damaged in transit, I cannot help you. If your item is not as presented in the listing (read note above), I will accept a return and refund you for the item & shipping cost after:
1) I receive an email within 10 days of your receipt of the item. If your initial email to me is after 10 days, no refund will be given.
2) I then must receive a photograph of the item showing the problem. You can send photo via email or US Mail
3) Then upon our mutual agreement of the problem,if you return the item it must be in the original or a comparable shipping container, with the same or equal packing material. I will verify that my seller's mark is intact.
4) If you receive an item damaged during shipping and you purchased insurance, I will work with you and the shipping service to resolve the problem. You will be responsible for filling out all insurance forms, etc. I am glad to walk you through the process. To fulfill USPS rules, DO NOT DISCARD boxes or any packing materials until a claim is settled.

WHY PAYPAL ONLY?  I sell for others on consignment. You buy an item from me and I pass on the payment to my client. However, if you don't pay me in a timely manner, my client gets cranky. Unfortunately, I have had several non-paying bidders. This seems to happen mostly with items that are to be paid for with check or money order. So... my policy is to only accept Paypal for my auctions. I must receive your payment within 3 days after the auction closes or I will file an Unpaid Item Report and leave negative feedback. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, but this is the best solution I can think of to the problem. Thanks for your understanding.
