eBay store listing. This isn't a traditional auction, instead of bidding, this has an asking price which we'll take or people can make an offer against it which we review. Because I have to use Buy it Now on these, I set them to require approval to bid - it's the only way to keep scam artists from ending the listing (eBay makes it real tough to get the fees back). So if you're interested in this item, please shoot me an email before you try to offer or buy it. Thanks for your understanding.
Parts Car, Hot Rod/Rat Rod project, or restorable: 1935 Housecar, factory conversion on a Chrysler chassis. Details on these have been hard to come by but one book shows Chrysler sold 237 CZ chassis in 1935, so it would have been rare when new - this may be the only one anywhere in the world. This was altered to be towed as a trailer at some point and has no engine or transmission, a gutted and partially redone (in pine paneling) interior, but the shell is all here and the structural beams look intact. Appears to be aluminum and steel body construction. It has a face only it's mother could love, and would probably scare people on the highway thinking someone's trailer has come unattached and is propelling itself down the road. Someone needs to buy this and do a good quality build on it, the sheer ugliness alone will get you at least a small shot in about every one of the rod magazines. The chassis in this was not altered other than removal of the steering gearbox and the addition of a hitch bar to the center of the tie-rod - it was not intended to be towed down the road, just made easier to be moved about someone's property. It still has the stock, original axles front and rear. Rarity comes with a price, and with no data to go on the asking price is a guess, feel free to make an offer. Pretty much all we know about this is posted here.
Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business.
How to pay: Check, cash in person, money order(s).
NOTE: Cashiers checks only accepted for the exact amount of the transaction. They must be able to be verified by the issuing bank before being accepted.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
