Vintage lot pinbacks Red Cross Masonic railroad & more

Here's a great lot of vintage pinbacks that I've culled from different boxes we brought from PawPaw's house ...

Included are a Red Cross volunteer pin ... one from the Burlington Route railroad ... a Masonic Eastern Star 25 year pin ...

There's a Girl Scout pin still on the cardboard ... a tiny shield-shaped pin marked 'E-F-S 21' ... several pins that say '1%' ... I think those may be United Way.

And there are a few I can't identify!  Please look the photos over, and if I can answer specific questions, I'll be happy to try ... If you need to see closer photos of any of the pins, just send me your e-mail address ...

My in-laws were antique dealers in northern Illinois for years, and then both worked for an auction service for a long time.   They were collectors of almost every kind of historical memorabilia since shortly after World War II.  PawPaw could always find a lot more interesting items to bring home than he could sell, so he saved them! 

After Mimi passed away in 2005, PawPaw decided it was time to start sharing his treasures with others, and he entrusted me with listing them.  We lost our PawPaw on September 26, but I still have many, many of his vintage and antique collectibles that need new homes, and I will continue listing them as we have for the past four years. 

I am not a dealer, a collector, or an expert, but I do try to describe each of PawPaw's items carefully and fully and to take good photos.  If you have any questions about any item listed, please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to find the answer for you.
