Vintage old Ikat textile / blanket Timor Indonesia 4

Description:  A fine original tribal Ikat textile / blanket from Timor , Indonesia.  Collected in the field near the East Timor border.

SHIPPING & PICKUP

Shipping quoted in our listings is for regular Canada Post small parcel service.  For overseas shipping (i.e. outside Canada and the United States) please inquire about rates.  Overseas shipments can take 1-3 weeks (though can arrive sooner), depending on Canada Post, foreign postal services and customs.  We have no control over the speed of Canada Post or the US Postal Service but are happy to ship by courier if requested for an additional fee and answer any shipping questions.

We sell and ship from both Mississauga and Vancouver and do not normally allow pickup because we do not have retail premises and do not keep retail hours.  For very inexpensive, very large or fragile items we are happy to discuss pickup.

RETURNS

We make every effort to describe all of our items in detail and try to find and sell high quality and unusual pieces.  However, any item may be returned within two weeks of receipt for any reason.  Buyers must pay return postage.  Items must be received in the same condition as originally shipped before a refund will be made.  We are happy to answer any and all questions before purchase so please ask us if you have any questions.

INSURANCE

Items that sell for $100 or less will include $100 insurance against loss.  Items that sell for $100 or more will be insured against loss at a cost to the buyer of $1 per $100 unless the buyer expressly tells us that they will assume the risk for loss over $100 in which case if the item is lost or damaged we will not assume any responsibility.  Buyers are free to place their own additional insurance on sold items.

PAYMENT

Payment must be received within two weeks of the item closing or we retain the right to relist or resell the item without any prior notice to the buyer.

LOST ITEMS

If items have not arrived within one month, our policy is to file a lost item claim with Canada Post, claim the applicable insurance and refund the buyer's purchase price.  Lost item claims will not be filed before one month from the end of the listing, as in our experience the vast majority of items are successfully delivered.
