Frame construction;
Nine laminations of the best American white ash and maple woods are combined with two full length graphite laminations to form this powerful and responsive racquet.   The exclusive "head wedge"  reinforces the upper portion of the frame while graphite face sheets are used to increase the strength, durability and power of this wood composite.

Head Shape & Hitting area;
The enlarged head of the Edgewood providesa larger effective hitting zone than conventional wood racquets Banlanced light in the head, this midsize wood composite allows percise control, awesome power and a surprising forgiveness on off center hits. Hitting Area 79 sq. in.

Sting Support System:
The outside lamination of the Edgewood is a maple layer to provide maximum string and frame protection on any court surface. Gut and nylon alike will seat well into the carefully routed and recessed string holes to provide a uniform response on every shot. The racquet can be strung at a broad range of tensions making the Edgewood suitable for a wide-range of players.

Handle system:
The Edgewood features a solid all wood handle that works to absorb any vibration which may be caused by off center hits.  The plush leather grip promostes a firm and comfortable hold on the racquet and helps prevent twisting in the hand.

Open Throat Design:
The broad open throat of the Edgewood helps stabilize this mid-size frame on off center hits. The unique, laminated open throat design together withthe graphite laminations and face sheets, provide a large sweet sport and makes this racquet durable for even the hardest hitters.
