This is an older violin with the case and the bow. It also has a homemade cloth pillow that may have been used under the chin. I know nothing about violins so I'll have to describe it without the names of the actual pieces that go on the violin. Please look very carefully at the pictures. Everything seems to be there for the strings, however they are detached. What is missing is some of the little metal fasteners for the strings and the strings themselves. Inside the violin is written "Antonuis Stradivarius, Faciebat Anno Cremonenfis AS." The violin is approx. 23 inches long. The case is approx. 31 inches long. The case has a storage space at one end to store the pillow and other small items. Someone did add a white cloth on one side, but it isn't original to the case. The case shows some wear especially on the end, but it's still in good condition. The locks all work and the handle is good. The bow is a dark color but has a gold color, decorated, metal piece on the top. On either side there is a small, flower-like, abalone shell design. The violin itself shows that it has been used, but it's also in good condition, with the exception of the parts that are detached from the front and will have to be reattached by someone qualified to do so. Also the strings and the metal screws that are missing, will have to be added.
