This is a Limited Edition Print from an original oil on canvas painting by Gerome Gardiner entitled A Flight Over River City.

The painting depicts a Virgin Blue Airlines Boeing 737-800 New Generation aircraft, on its departure from Brisbane airspace on track coral 4. The original painting was created with varying source material including aerial photography of the Brisbane CBD and includes amazing and painstaking detail to the point where recognition of individual real life buildings is possible as well as Brisbane landmarks including the Story Bridge, the South Bank precinct, and the famous Gabba cricket ground among many others (not to mention the incredibly accurate depiction of the Boeing 737 in minor detail).

The particular aircraft pictured is Australian registered VH-VUK, dubbed "Mackay Be-Diva".

This Limited Edition Print has been produced using the very latest Giclee fine art printing technology whose quality is unpreccedented in terms of colour replication from the original painting and in terms of the longevity of the reproduction.
