In 1952, Mother Teresa opened the first Home for the Dying in a space made available by the City of Calcutta. It was in 1950 when applying for the visa to India that Mother Teresa was fingerprinted in Rome. Many years later after her death in 1997 - a priest at the vatican was looking through Mother Teresa's meeger belongings when his glance came upon her visa. He thought he saw some kind of image in her fingerprint - under a magnifying glass he discovered what appeared to be the image of the Vigin Mary and the baby Jesus. The priest Father Guiseppi Montagano kept the visa, the sacred image and his secret untill a few days before his death in 2005 - when he showed a reporter from the Rome newspaper Il Manifesto this incredible image.
