A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
The piggy bank looks to have been unused as there are no scratches or chips. The cork shows some wear on the front but the sides are still deep red in color. There is a small surface split on the cork front where the ring is attached. There is a seam line that is more noticeable on one side than the other and you can feel a slight, smooth ridge where when manufacturing they hadn’t trimmed and smoothed it quite as much as they should have.I don’t think it takes anything away from the vintage charm of this little piggy. It has a bulls-eye design on each of its sides with other rose colored spots overall.
This will make a great addition to a collection of piggy banks, Hull Pottery, or just pigs in general or the perfect gift.
All items are sold as is and sales are final unless I've accidentally misrepresented the item or overlooked a defect and failed to note it in my description. Only then will I accept a return which at the buyer's expense must reach me within 5 days. If there is a problem once you receive your item, please contact me through Ebay messages (I always look there first) and hopefully we can work it out.
Most of the items I sell are gently used or vintage/antique but I sell a wide variety of other items as well. There are bound to be imperfections which I try to catch but... nobody's perfect. In my listing, I try to include everything I'd want to know if I were buying the item such as size, color & imperfections. Please read the descriptions carefully but if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check out my other auctions!
Payment should be made within 5 days. As per Ebay rules, they will only allow me to accept Paypal payments. Please make sure your shipping address is confirmed with them. New York State residents must add 8% sales tax.
If you have not contacted me and payment has not been made, I'll send a reminder invoice on the 5th day. If payment is still not received by 7 days, I'll need to file a non-paying bidder report with Ebay and they'll contact you again about paying for your purchase.
Shipping cost is to be paid by the buyer. I charge actual shipping plus $1.00 handling. Sometimes depending on the weight when the item is actually boxed for shipping it may vary slightly up or down. Whenever I am way over on my estimate - I will send a refund to your paypal acct. USPS, FedEx, and UPS rates always seem to be on the rise which I can't do anything about and I hope you won't judge MY shipping rates by THEIR costs and lower my DSR rating for something beyond my control. The same is true with shipping time - if I ship your package within 1-4 days but it takes 2 weeks to be delivered - that is also beyond my control as I do not have access as to how it's being handled by USPS, FedEx, or UPS. I sincerely thank you for your consideration!
Your purchase will be shipped within 1-4 business days after receiving payment but packages are usually shipped within 48 hours. Small items will be shipped through USPS but I've found it less expensive for larger or heavier items to use either UPS or FedEx depending on your location, weight, & size.
I'm happy to combine shipping whenever possible. I won't combine items that I feel will not ship safely together which will need to be decided on a per sale basis. Example: fragile glass item with a large cast iron piece.
Insurance is included with FedEx/UPS in the shipping cost for up to $100.00 worth of coverage. I'll try to use this method of shipping as often as possible for the included insurance but it will only be cost effective if the package weighs over 2 lbs. and is going a greater distance from my shipping zone. Ebay has decided that insurance for the US Postal Service can no longer be an option for the buyer.
