GORGEOUS 50'S BLACK LACE EVENING GOWN!!!
by French Parisian Designer FERNANDE DESGRANGES
Classic 50s ball gown designed by Fernande Desgranges! Gorgeous 50s silhouette with fitted boned bodice and gloriously full skirt! It is made of black net and lace. The bodice is boned and features a sweetheart bustline with vertically ruched net bust and lace trim. The ribcage is decorated with 4 rows of black lace. The full skirt is constructed of a double layer of net trimmed with black lace in a diamond pattern. The top layer of each diamond is ruched. The skirt is lined with another layer of net over a taffeta lining which has a heavier layer of net sewn underneath for fullness. Dress zips and hooks in the back.
Label: Fernande Desgranges, 372 Rue St. Honore, Paris. Made in France.
Dress was photographed with a crinoline underneath; crinoline not included.
Condition: Very good. The bottom of the skirt has a raw hem (like someone shortened it with scissors). It is not very noticeable and does not detract at all. The taffeta lining has a finished hem. There is some light edgewear to some of the lace (not a big deal and does not detract). There are no holes or stains.
Dress seems to fit like a modern S to M - Best on a M with appropriate period foundation garments to nip in the waist. Please go by measurements below.
