Vintage 80s Boyfriend Tuxedo Blazer


Vintage 80s black & white blazer with cutout open back!   Fabric is relaxed/lightweight with tiny black and white checker print (looks grey to the eye) with larger black and white checkered print collar and faux pockets.   Faux pockets and collar have black and white twisted rope trim.  Back has criss-cross panels of black chiffon!  Deep V neckline.   Notched collar. One pearly button in front.  Sewn-in shoulder pads (easily removable)

Fabric content: Unmarked; most likely poly/cotton blend or similar. It is lightweight and relaxed fit.

Good vintage condition.  There are a few faint spots:  the largest and most visible one is on the back of the right sleeve (shown in photo below) - it measures 2" across x 1/2".  There are 3 more very faint spots - one on the front of the right sleeve and 2 on the bottom front edge of the jacket.  They are visible but not extremely noticeable - so take that into consideration when bidding.

No size tag - it seems to fit best on a modern size XS to M depending on how you like it to fit, but please go by measurements below:   

  • Bust : 38"
  • Waist:  31"
  • Hips: 37"
  • Length: 23"
  • Sleeve length: 20 1/2"
  • Shoulder to shoulder (measured in back): 16 1/2"
