Vintage Juli Lynne Charlot  Sexy 2 Piece Black Velvet Party/Cocktail Ensemble

Classic by the famous circle skirt designer/actress Juli Lynne Charlot

The lined fitted strapless bodice with stays has an "oh" so sweetheart neckline that is accented with

a single 3 dimensional red & burgandy felt rose.

The unlined circle skirt has an amazing circumference of 200" at the hemline.

It is accented with 5 more 3 dimensional felt roses (approx. 3 1/2" diam) that are attached to a dark green

felt vine that meanders across the skirt. 

Appliqued leaves in two shades of green complete the themed embellishment

BODICE

Bust: 33"

layed flat measured from side to side at the top of the zipper

Length of bodice, top to bottom, at the back is 7"

Length of bodice in the center front to waist is 9.5"

It closes in the back with a 7" metal zipper and hook & eye @ the top.

Lined with satin and has 6 stays.

Skirt is unlined

The front of the skirt is cut on the fold and is one piece, the back is made with 2 pieces with a center seam.

Waist: 26"

Length is 30" with a 3" band at the waistline

It closes with a 11" metal zipper

circumference is 200"

Skirt is shown with a crinoline (not included) underneath.

Condition

This vintage estate find is ready to wear. It was worn & loved by a lady who was known for her Christmas parties. It is coming out of several years of well kept storage in a smoke free home. It is not in new condition. However, we believe it deserves a rating of "EXCELLENT", with the few minor blemishes mentioned below.

This bodice has no rips, stains or soiling. The zipper works great with no problems.

There are four 1/2" storage marks across the bottom where the bodice has been clipped onto a hanger. In addition the right front bust seam at the very bottom has a 3/4" slight fraying.

The skirt is in excellent condition.
