Leonard Silver Plate Shell Shaped Hinged Dish Glass Insert

Leonard Silver was founded by Leonard Florence in 1969 in Chelsea, Massachusetts.  The company was acquired by Towle Silversmiths in 1978.  It is now a product line of International Silver Company and Wallace Silversmiths Inc.

We are offering a shell-shaped, hinged dish with a glass insert for condiments.  There is a detailed beaded border on the top half with a small attached knob for opening. The bottom has 4 tiny bubble like feet.  Edges are scalloped in keeping with the shell shape.  On the bottom near the hinge it reads “Leonard Silverplate Hong Kong”.

There is an opening for a small spoon, which is missing.  Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
