Vtg WARREN PLATNER for KNOLL Nickel SIDE Table BASE

This is a Warren Platner for Knoll Nickel Side table base. This is the base only, the glass top is missing. I think its rather inexpensive to have a small piece of glass cut for this. Considering the sale i purchased this from I would assume it is vintage but I can not guarantee that it is. I dont know if there is a way to tell for sure. I'm selling this as found and have not cleaned it up at all. Its dusty around the bottom area. There is a plastic cover on the bottom. Also one of the nickle stems is a little off center from the rest, only one that I noticed but not very bad. No rust or pitting that I noticed. I believe this is an older one but like I said before I have no way of proving that. It measures 18" tall, the top is approx 15 1/2" in diameter and the bottom is 13" in diameter.
