Vintage Wm Rogers Silverplate Serving Tray, Spring Flower

This serving tray by Wm Rogers & Sons is in the Spring Flower pattern, circa 1956 to 1960s. Unlike the waiter trays in this pattern, there is no etching to the center. It is classically simple with the elegant embossed border of repeating flowers interrupted by a swirl in between each one.

There is a 4” shallow indentation in the center of the tray which has a 12” diameter. This may have been a chip and dip. Our recommendation would be a decorative glass bowl in a vibrant blue or cranberry. Surrounded by the gleaming silver, it would make a striking addition to any festive table.

We have given this a quick polish and although there are a few marks here and there, it is still in excellent condition. We leave any additional polishing to the buyer.
