Vintage retro picture/wall hanging.  Horse scene enhanced with glitter and horses are stuffed to make it look more 3-D.  Actually, this is a very nice picture.  I bought it and others like it, ( view other listings), at a PA Dutch estate sale. 

I tried to capture the glittery aspects in the photos, but it just won't pick it up.  These were probably crafted by hand, having stitched around the horses and then stuffed them and then added glitter to the trees and water and other items in the fabric.  The fabric feels like what draperies were made from.  There is no glass covering these. 

In this particular picture there is turquoise and gold glitter in the trees, silver in the water, and turquoise at their feet.  Red glitter on roofs and flowers. I lightened the photo to bring out the glitter, so it actually is a bit darker.

The wood frame is exceptionally nice, too.  Very nicely done.  I don't know if this glitter style was a once and done idea, or if it was some crafting fad at the time. Would look great in den, family room or cabin. 

Frame measures 20 x 22.  Ready to hang.  Very clean, no odors.
